Barefoot Forward - Terms and Conditions of Appointment
Payments
Payments of cash on day or bank/BACS transfer (pre-approved) are accepted. We are unable to accept cheques. If no payment is made there will be an interest charge of 8.25% after 30 days.
Cancellations
48 hours prior to appointment will incur no charge.
24 hours or less will incur 50% of total cost (including travel).
No-shows will be charged at the full amount.
Travel
All prices quoted will include travel costs to your area. It is possible to split these costs between clients at the same address. Please provide info at time of quote.
Appointment Times
Times for appointments are planned as accurately as possible. Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, appointment times may vary slightly and I will endeavour to inform you of any changes as soon as possible. Any appointments cancelled by owner due to this will not be charged.
Preparing for your Appointment
- Please ensure your horse is ready at the allotted appointment time which will enable us to take advantage of the whole appointment time.
- Please pick out hooves before appointment. Please DO NOT wash legs unless they have time to sufficiently dry.
- A safe and clear working environment is important to reduce the risk of accident or injury. This includes keeping other unrestrained animals out of the area.
- The owner or a nominated handler is to be present at the time of appointment and to be in charge of the horse at all times. Liability for the horse remains with this person.
Illness
If you suspect your horse or another horse at your yard may have a contagious illness, please inform me BEFORE your appointment. This is in the interest of reducing the risk to all client's horses.
Booking is not fully confirmed until all details are complete and agreement has been ticked. By confirming booking, you are agreeing to the terms above.
